My mom and I have been in a difficult spot for a long time. So long that I was starting to question if it was repairable...I never thought these words would be coming out of my mouth but... I am starting to have a beautiful, deep, vulnerable relationship with my mom again. It feels so freaking good to be connected and loved and supported by one another. I did this program by myself, and my daughter and I have both benefited from what I have learned and integrated. You don't need both people in the program - once you start using the tools, it is natural for the others relating with you to follow suit, because they see how well it works. I have been able to see where I was not calibrating for equality, which really shifted things with my daughter. And then to be able to use the different pillars and cycle through them (again and again, it turns out - they are so helpful to use and then use again in the context of figuring out how to relate, or working on a problem).
